Toni Holmes, President, Emeritus
Toni spent over 40 years in the medical imaging field, first in x-ray and then was fortunate enough to specialize in Magnetic Resonance Imaging when it arrived in the diagnostic imaging arena in the
mid 1980’s. This became her passion which lasted until 2017 when
she retired after living in Anchorage, Alaska for 20 years.

Toni joined Anchorage International Rotary club in 2005 and was very active in various Rotary projects including traveling to India to vaccinate children against polio, and was the Youth Exchange chair for 5 years.
She is now a member of the Rotary e-Club of World Peace.
Toni also supported the Arts in Anchorage and they became an important part of her life during the time
she was there.

After she retired, she decided to divide her time between traveling, her home in Las Vegas and Baja where she found her way to a performance at La Misión Performing Arts Center and ultimately landed on the Board of Directors of LMPAC. Toni says “I was so impressed by the energy of everyone involved, especially the vision to provide the community with quality, fun entertainment and to give the children of the surrounding community a chance to enjoy and participate in different cultural events. I believe in “giving back” by volunteering and in the magic of the Arts as being a pathway to world peace."
Toni was born and raised in England before becoming a permanent resident in the United States. Her passion for the Arts carries on as Toni’s only daughter, Ally Holmes, is an actor!

We awarded Toni Holmes with our first-ever Emeritus Member of the Board distinction on December 21, 2024.
This recognition was a heartfelt acknowledgment of her remarkable contributions to the La Misión Performing Arts Center. Click here to read our letter to Toni.
